About the FSD2010 Organizing Committee
Biologists from the University, CNRS and CIRAD in Montpellier joined the Organizing Committee. Met them at their respective webpage. The city of Montpellier is ideally located to host the Symposium thanks to the rich scientific community based at many institutions which studies are dedicated to both the tropics and the temperate such as the Institut des Sciences de l'Evolution de Montpellier - ISEM (Institut for Evolution Sciences) at the University, the Centre d'Ecologie Fonctionnelle et Evolutive - CEFE (Center for Functional and Evolutionary Ecology) at CNRS and the reseach unit Dynamique des forêts naturelles (Natural forest dynamics) at CIRAD.
