5th International Symposium-Workshop on Frugivores and Seed Dispersal (1985-2010)
The Genus Homo is closing a sery of 24 highlights on Frugivores and Seed Dispersers. Between July 2008 and June 2010, we introduced the animals and their role as seed dispersers in diverse ecosystems around the planet: Primates, Birds, Rodents, Elephants, Tortoise, Fishes, Bats, Wild Boars, Earthworms, Ants, Dung Beetles, Deer, Bear, Tapirs, Lizards and Human beings. There are far more agents of dispersal to discover, including wind and water which also contribute to seed dispersal and diversity radiation. No doubt that they will all be re-presented in oral and poster presentations between 14-18 June at Le Corum, the best place to be in 2010 to celebrate the International Year of Biodiversity.
