A Scientific Artist and an Artistic Scientist
Science don't need much colors, but scientific communication is far better when it is colorful and well illustrated. Erin Kuprewicz, Ph.D. student in the Department of Biology at the University of Miami, understood that very well. She received the 1st Place Merian Poster Award at ATBC-GTOE meeting in Marburg, 2009 (Poster). She also designed our FSD2010 logo as well as that of ATBC2008.org. You can discover her talent, and all frugivores and other tropical organisms she used to illustrated our logos. Erin Kuprewicz recently renewed her website.
