Let's celebrate the International Year of Biodiversity in Montpellier
In a special issue of La Recherche published on July 2000, the question on cover was "Biodiversity : Is human being the ennemy of other species ?". Certainly, during this International Year of Biodiversity, we might be able to respond based on 10 years of data. On 31 December 2009, 107 participants from 25 countries, from New Zealand, Japon and China to Argentina, Canada, and French Polynesia, already registered. All scientists are witness of what is happening at global scale, and they will be in Montpellier to present the results of their studies on "Frugivores and Seed Dispersal: Mechanisms and Consequences of a Key Interaction for Biodiversity".
