The Frugivores of the Month in January 2010 are Reindeer and relatives
In 2009, we celebrated 150 years of Darwin's Origin of Species, and 40 years since Man walked on the Moon. Claude Levi Strauss passed away on 30 october, almost a year after he was 100. In the animation movie, Robbie the Reindeer and Donner take the sleigh to the Moon and enjoy a romantic day together as in Frank Sinatra's song 'Fly me to the Moon' They watch the Blue Planet, probably as Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin did in July 1969. Now, let's protect this Earth and its biodiversity, its climate, its pole with Reindeer without which Santa Clauss will not be able to deliver presents to kids waiting for them at tree base.
