SOUTH AFRICA: 2010 and Beyond
How the 2010 World cup is linked to biology of seed dispersal and nature conservation. Because the 6th FSD Symposium-Workshop is already scheduled to be held in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa (Chair Pr. Colleen Downs, University of KwaZulu-Natal) in 2015, the chair of FSD2010 has been invited on 22 October 2009 for a dinner at the Residence of the Embassador of South Africa in Paris. South Africa is a perfect destination for the first symposium-workshop on frugivores and seed dispersal in Africa between 1985-2015. We more than welcome South Africans to attend FSD2010 in Montpellier, to connect mediterranean and wine-producing countries - grape seeds are dispersed by animals - across the planet, and to promote partnership and friendship between Europeans and Africans as a whole.
